It starts at Gammel Strand, the old fish quay, and crosses to Slotsholmen, where Thorvaldsen lies buried in the courtyard of his own museum and the riding ground still holds a sand oval between arched galleries. The Marble Bridge has carried ceremony since the 1740s. Børsen stands wrapped in scaffolding, its dragon spire gone from the skyline for now. The last stretch runs through Magstræde and Snaregade, laid out in the 1520s when the coastline moved. Twelve stops, about 2.5 km.
