The walk starts at the Zaans Museum, Albert Heijn's stone laid in 1997, then the tiny grocer at Kalverringdijk 5 that opened in 1967. De Huisman came here from the Blauwe Pad in 1955. De Kat still sells pigments from ground stone. De Zoeker presses linseed. Het Jonge Schaap saws timber. Ten stops, about 1.5 km, ending at De Bonte Hen.
