Narada Falls
Paradise Rd,Mount Rainier National Park, WA, Paradise
This magical waterfall – and popular Mt. Rainier tourist attraction – is located on the road from Longmire to Paradise, just one mile west of the entrance to the Paradise area. At 176 feet high, the falls have two distinct features: the top tier, and tallest at 159 feet is a horsetail fall, so described because it has multiple channels down the rock face.
- 3Day 1
Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center
National Park Inn, Paradise Rd E, Ashford, WA 98304, USA, 98304 Ashford
Perched in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park, the Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center is your gateway to understanding the mountain before you explore it. Step inside to browse hands-on exhibits covering Rainier's glaciers, geology, and wildlife, then catch a short park film that sets the scene perfectly. Rangers are on hand to answer questions, suggest trails, and help you make the most of your time on the mountain. Grab a bite at the snack bar — the window seats offer an unobstructed view straight up to Rainier's summit — and pick up a souvenir or trail map at the gift shop before heading out. Just outside, the Skyline Trail and other popular routes begin within easy walking distance of the parking lot.
